First National Bank of Kemp, a community bank serving Kemp since 1901, needed a secure, easy-to-manage shared workspace/VDI solution that would work with the new Citrix Workspace app while delivering a consistent look and feel across mixed endpoints. SVP/CTO Gary Yarbrough selected Stratodesk and its NoTouch software as the thin‑client Linux OS to meet security, centralized management and deployment simplicity requirements.

Stratodesk converted the bank’s existing Generic White Box systems, Dell Wyse 5060 units and Lenovo IdeaPads into Linux-based NoTouch Clients and managed them centrally with NoTouch Center. The deployment was hardware‑agnostic, reduced IT troubleshooting, and produced measurable savings—more than $15,000 in year-one hardware savings via PC conversion and PXE boot plus roughly $1,000 saved per laptop by avoiding high‑spec purchases—while delivering a unified, secure endpoint environment.
