Clal Insurance, a major Israeli insurance and financial‑services group, faced a heavy IT burden from Windows installed on all desktops — constant antivirus, patches and OS image maintenance — plus strict regulatory biometric authentication requirements for handling sensitive data. To avoid replacing hardware with expensive thin clients and to rapidly repurpose endpoints in its VMware Horizon View environment, Clal turned to Stratodesk and its NoTouch Desktop solution with central management via NoTouch Center.

Stratodesk deployed roughly 1,500 NoTouch Desktop licenses across five sites (PCoIP on Dell760/780), enabling Clal to repurpose existing PCs, centrally manage endpoints, and accelerate rollout. The Stratodesk solution cut OS maintenance to almost zero, saved more than 2,000 man‑hours per year, reduced endpoint replacement costs by about 80% (NoTouch cost ~20% of thin‑client replacement), and positioned Clal to migrate an additional 2,500 endpoints to VDI.
