Arriva Czech Republic, part of ARRIVA, is one of the largest transport companies in Europe and operates 2,200 buses in the Czech Republic. In 2020, it began working with Stratio to address the challenge of predicting bus failures and reducing unexpected breakdowns in order to deliver contracted service more reliably.

Using the Stratio Platform, Arriva Czech Republic gained the ability to identify potential failures before they happen, shift from reactive repairs to planned predictive maintenance, and improve fleet utilization. Stratio also provided driver behavior rating capabilities to help improve operational efficiency; while no exact numeric impact was shared, Arriva said the solution is indispensable for planning and scheduling fleet actions and creating competitive advantages.
