The Container Store, founded in 1978 and operating 60 U.S. stores with strong sales growth, is famed for its employee-first culture and customer focus. Facing fragmented reporting via email, spreadsheets and desktop tools, leadership needed transparent, mobile access to sales, payroll and store metrics so teams could act quickly and consistently.

Working with MicroStrategy, they built “The Score” — a mobile app developed quickly that delivers 14 dashboards with executive recaps, rolling 3/6/12-month trends, payroll performance and scheduling analytics. The solution provided timely, actionable reporting that improved visibility into sales-per-payroll-hour, optimized staffing decisions, and was widely adopted by store leaders, with additional modules planned.
