Red Lobster, a seafood restaurant chain with 700+ locations, 58,000 employees and $2 billion in annual revenue, faced a fragmented, opaque HR environment where hiring, terminations and costs were untraceable and static reports couldn’t scale with the business. Management needed a centralized, interactive solution to consolidate disparate data sources, track candidate life cycles, identify skill gaps, and standardize talent reviews across the organization.

Red Lobster implemented a MicroStrategy-powered HR analytics suite that consolidates PeopleSoft, BrassRing, Schoox, Oracle Financials and other sources into a customizable dashboard that refreshes hourly to quarterly and delivers nine core reports (Staffing, Candidates & Hires, Talent Review, Wages, Terminations, Recruiter Expenses, etc.). The new platform provides real-time KPIs, hiring-cost visibility, tailored security per user, and actionable insight into turnover and pay competitiveness—shifting the company from manual, static reporting to a single, secure application that improves hiring, retention and labor spend management; a mobile app is now in development.
