Liverpool Community Health (LCH) is an NHS trust serving about 750,000 people with over 3,000 staff—80% of whom are practicing clinicians—delivering community-based care around the clock. LCH struggled with slow, manual board reporting: data was prepared in Excel over weeks, packages were printed and sometimes couriered, and decision-makers were working from month‑old information while staff spent days producing reports.
LCH deployed OPERA, an Organizational Performance Electronic Reporting Application built on MicroStrategy Mobile and delivered on iPads, giving the board near‑real‑time, drillable data anywhere. The change cut printing and report‑preparation time (one department estimates ~5 days saved per month), enabled confidential patient feedback capture and instant analysis, improved meetings and clinical workflows, and delivered rapid payback—under one year for the board and under three years organization‑wide.
