GUESS?, Inc., a global fashion retailer with more than 1,421 stores in over 90 countries, needed to give executives and field directors timely, mobile access to sales and marketing analytics. The BI team wanted to move beyond bulky Excel reports on BlackBerrys and deliver actionable operational insight to iPads so decision-makers could access critical data anywhere.
Using MicroStrategy Mobile GUESS deployed an iPad app with 13 dashboards that provide high-level KPIs and drill-downs to store- and style-level detail, virtual store visits, maps, and trend analysis. The visually tailored app increased adoption across executives, merchants and planners, sped decision-making, improved visibility into sales, margins and inventory, and drew strong positive feedback from users.
