Techno achieves mechanical and finish quality comparable to injection molding with P3™ DLP 3D printing

Techno, an Italian company based in Rimoldi, develops tailor-made connection solutions and needed a faster, more flexible way to create functional prototypes while meeting electrical-mechanical regulations. To address this challenge, Techno partnered with Stratasys and its Italian reseller Overmach, looking for a multi-technology additive manufacturing solution that could support both current and future product development needs.

Stratasys implemented its Origin® P3™ DLP 3D printing technology in Techno’s Innovation Lab after technology benchmarking, enabling the team to produce prototypes with high competitiveness and support faster product development at lower cost. With the Stratasys Origin platform, Techno reported mechanical and finish quality comparable to injection molding, helping them bring the right products to market more quickly and economically.
