Case Study: Team Penske achieves faster innovation and on-track wins with Stratasys 3D printing

A Stratasys Case Study

Preview of the Penske Case Study

Team Penske's Efforts with Additive Manufacturing Create Winning Results

Penske (Team Penske) is a championship-winning racing organization that must constantly shorten development cycles and stay ahead of competitors. To accelerate design iteration and bring ideas to the racetrack faster, Penske turned to Stratasys and its additive manufacturing/3D printing solutions, including FDM and PolyJet technologies.

Stratasys supplied 3D printing tools that Penske used for wind‑tunnel models, jigs and fixtures, composite tooling and race-ready components (for example, a carbon monoxide filter, rearview mirror housing and a fueling probe handle). The result was faster, more reliable iteration and shorter time‑to‑track—parts could be printed, tested and in some cases raced directly off the printer, helping Penske meet tight deadlines and gain a clear competitive advantage with Stratasys’ solutions.
