Stratasys And Express Dental Laboratory Partner To Provide TrueDent™ Dentures To Patients In Need At Oklahoma Mission Of Mercy Event

Express Dental Laboratory partnered with Stratasys to help meet a major challenge at the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM) event: providing dentures quickly enough for patients who previously could not receive dental appliances on-site. Traditional impression-based denture production was too slow for the event’s tight turnaround, limiting how many patients could be served.

Stratasys and Express Dental Laboratory used TrueDent resin and the J5 DentaJet 3D printer to digitally design, print, and deliver custom full and partial dentures within 24 hours. The process enabled 76 patient-specific dentures to be produced in under a day, with minimal post-processing, and helped more than 55 patients receive comfortable, accurate, and natural-looking appliances that improved their confidence, function, and quality of life.
