Quadpack Enhances Packaging Design and Production With Full-Color Multi-Material 3D Printing

Quadpack Industries, a global manufacturer of beauty packaging, wanted to boost innovation, expand R&D and shorten time-to-market for bespoke and Q‑Line products. Facing limits in color, material range and prototyping speed with its previous equipment, Quadpack purchased a Stratasys J750 full‑color, multi‑material 3D printer (via partner Tri Tech 3D) to support its new Design and Advanced Technologies department.

Using the Stratasys J750, Quadpack produces high‑fidelity prototypes, client samples and on‑demand injection trial molds—enabling realistic visualization for customers and functional mold testing before cutting steel. The result is faster decision‑making and production: around 300 prototypes were produced for a single trend exhibition, trial molds that used to take ~6 weeks in steel can be made in as little as 24 hours, and overall costs and time‑to‑market have been significantly reduced, giving Quadpack a stronger ROI and competitive edge.
