Posca Brothers boosts denture production 10X with Stratasys TrueDent

Posca Brothers, a third-generation family-run dental laboratory, faced the challenge of modernizing its traditional analog workflows and expanding its business without being limited by internal production capacity. To address this, the lab adopted Stratasys's TrueDent resin and J5 DentaJet printers for the 3D printing of dentures and other removable prosthetics.

The Stratasys TrueDent solution enabled monolithic, multicolor printing of dental appliances, significantly improving aesthetics and accuracy. This implementation resulted in a 10x increase in production capacity, allowing the lab to produce around 34 dentures in a single 12-hour print run. For dentists, the higher precision reduced patient visits for relines by an average of two appointments, while also providing faster turnaround times and less overhead inventory for the lab.
