Oxy Implant Digitizes Implantation Process with DentaJet 3D Printing Solutions

Oxy Implant, an Italy-based dental implant specialist, faced the challenge of supporting increasingly digital implantology workflows while improving precision, flexibility, and patient-specific outcomes. To address this, the company created a dedicated digital department, Oxy Digital Solutions, and looked for a 3D printing platform that could support surgical planning, scanning data matching, and the creation of surgical guides and dental models.

Stratasys provided the solution with its DentaJet 3D printers using PolyJet technology, including the J5 DentaJet and J3 DentaJet. With Stratasys, Oxy Implant was able to produce multi-material, highly accurate biocompatible guides, prosthetic models, and gingiva masks on one system, enabling faster and cheaper modular jig workflows than traditional methods. The result was expanded clinical capability beyond implant placement into biopsies, corticotomies, soft tissue harvesting, and complex jaw reconstruction support, while improving efficiency and reducing finishing-related damage.
