Ogle Models Turns to Next-Gen Stereolithography 3D Printing to Unlock Creativity and Efficiency

Ogle Models and Prototypes, a UK model‑making and prototyping specialist founded in 1954, faced growing client demand for higher-capacity, faster and more reliable 3D printing across the product development cycle. To modernize its stereolithography capabilities and stay competitive, Ogle chose Stratasys’ Neo stereolithography systems (Neo800 and Neo450s) to expand build volume, speed, flexibility and part quality.

Stratasys delivered two Neo800s and a Neo450s (Neo800 build chamber 800×800×600 mm; Neo450s 450×450×400 mm), enabling Ogle to produce injection‑mold‑like accuracy and surface finish with higher throughput and dependable multi‑day prints. The Neo systems helped Ogle win new business—most notably producing a 1:4, 1200 mm concept car model for Heatherwick Studios/IM Motors—while masters printed on the Neo platform now support 15–50 part vacuum‑casting runs, boosting capacity, consistency and efficiency.
