NEO Lab saves 3 minutes per model with Stratasys

NEO Lab, a digital orthodontic laboratory, faced a challenge with the traditional, messy process of using a separator liquid to create acrylic dental appliances. This method was time-consuming, risked damaging models, and resulted in an inferior surface finish. They partnered with vendor Stratasys to find a better solution using their 3D printing technology.

Stratasys developed Separator Digital Materials in partnership with NEO Lab. This innovative material infuses with the model resin, allowing acrylic devices to pop off easily and eliminating extensive post-processing. The solution from Stratasys saved NEO Lab approximately three minutes per model, reduced manual labor, increased accuracy, and delivered a superior surface quality that enhanced the final customer experience.
