Kärcher - Customer Case Study

Kärcher, the global cleaning-technology leader, needed faster, more realistic prototyping to keep its rapidly updated product portfolio moving—most products are refreshed within five years—and to develop the new EASY!FORCE trigger gun with complex geometries and mixed material requirements. To meet that challenge the company leveraged Stratasys 3D printing, notably Stratasys PolyJet technology (alongside Stratasys FDM), to produce prototypes that match the look, feel and function of final parts.

Stratasys implemented PolyJet solutions including the Stratasys J750 and materials such as Agilus and Vero, enabling full‑color, multi‑material prints (over 500,000 colors/textures and up to six material combinations) and the ability to print soft and hard features in one run. This allowed Kärcher to test multiple variations on a single tray, create true-to-life prototypes much faster, shorten design cycles and significantly speed prototype development for the EASY!FORCE trigger gun—improving design validation and accelerating time-to-market.
