J.W. Speaker makes small volumes faster and cheaper with DLP 3D printing

J.W. Speaker, a Wisconsin-based lighting manufacturer for automotive, powersports, transportation, and industrial vehicles, needed a faster, more cost-effective way to produce small volumes of parts and customized products. Traditional methods like injection molding were too slow and expensive for the company’s low-volume needs, especially for prototyping, tooling, and end-use components such as gaskets.

To solve this, J.W. Speaker used Stratasys Origin, powered by P3 DLP 3D printing technology, to create parts with injection-molding-like surface finish and accurate elastomeric parts.
