A Stratasys Case Study
Marlborough High School launched a STEM Early College program to boost critical thinking and college/career readiness through interdisciplinary, project-based learning on state-of-the-art equipment. To support that goal, the school incorporated Stratasys technology, including several Stratasys uPrint™ 3D Printers, into engineering and other classes to give students hands-on experience with CAD, 3D printing, robotics and design.
Using Stratasys uPrint printers, MHS integrated 3D printing across engineering, math and English—students design and produce functional prototypes (from amusement-park models to Globe Theatre replicas), driving greater engagement, collaboration and problem-solving. The Stratasys-enabled program resulted in tangible, cross-curricular outputs, broader student participation in STEM activities, and strengthened pathways to internships and career-readiness opportunities.
