H&T Presspart achieves injection-molding precision and quality for pharmaceutical components with P3™ DLP technology

H&T Presspart, a pharmaceutical components manufacturer in Spain, needed a way to achieve injection-molding-level precision, 50-micron tolerances, and high-quality surface finishes for tooling, prototypes, and custom adapters. The company also needed to print a broad range of materials, including PP-like, ABS, elastomers, transparent options, and biocompatible materials. Stratasys P3 DLP technology on the Origin One was selected to meet these demanding requirements.

Using Stratasys Origin One with P3 DLP materials such as Loctite IND405, IND402, and P3 Stretch 475, H&T Presspart produced in-house tooling and functional prototypes with exceptional accuracy and faster turnaround. The result was a 50% reduction in tooling cost, an 80% reduction in adapter cost, and lead times cut to less than 24 hours, while achieving repeatability, precision, and tolerances among the best in the market.
