How Valiant TMS and the Origin One Keep Pace With Customer Needs

Valiant TMS, a supplier of intelligent factory automation solutions for major automotive and aerospace manufacturers, needed a way to stay aligned with customers who were increasingly adopting additive manufacturing. To meet demand for improved tooling and replacement parts, the company expanded beyond FDM into photopolymer 3D printing and selected the Stratasys Origin One 3D printer.

With the Stratasys Origin One, Valiant TMS produced smooth, ergonomic tool components with an injection-molded-like finish and a high-impact-resistant material. The solution cut production time for one part from about two days with traditional CNC machining to as little as five hours including setup and post-processing, while also reducing cost and helping Valiant TMS better match customer expectations.
