Case Study: Kinetic Vision achieves rapid, retail-ready packaging prototyping with Stratasys J55

A Stratasys Case Study

Preview of the Kinetic Vision Case Study

How they have recently powered up their packaging development process utilizing the new Stratasys J55™ 3D printer

Kinetic Vision, a Cincinnati-based design and technology company that supports over 50 Fortune 500 clients, needed faster, more accurate packaging prototypes to stand out across the tens of thousands of SKUs retailers carry. Outsourced model shops often struggled with complex details and clear materials, slowing development, so Kinetic Vision turned to the Stratasys J55 3D printer to bring modeling in-house.

Using the Stratasys J55, Kinetic Vision set up the system in under an hour and produced first prints within hours, then completed a concept-to–retail-ready sprint in two weeks, with functional, shelf-quality parts produced within days. The J55’s high-fidelity colors, textures and compact, plug-and-play design improved consumer research accuracy and accelerated Kinetic Vision’s packaging workflow, leading to faster validation and integration of prototypes at critical process points.
