How Enventys Partners delivers end-use biocompatible devices, while avoiding long lead times and high costs with the Stratasys Origin One

Enventys Partners, a full-service product launch agency, was tasked by FloSonix to develop a biocompatible, lightweight handheld lice treatment device with textured grips, lattice inserts and multiple precision nozzles — requirements that made traditional injection molding or CNC machining prohibitively expensive and slow. To meet tight aesthetic, heat-resistance (60–80°C) and durability specs for a 200–300 unit annual run, Enventys needed a manufacturing solution that supported rapid iteration without costly tooling.

Enventys Partners deployed the Stratasys Origin One 3D printer (with two machines installed at FloSonix) and leveraged Stratasys’s open materials network and Henkel Loctite resins to produce seven-part assemblies in three materials; parts were printed in days, ran up to 20 hours a day, and the two printers met the annual production requirement. Using the Stratasys Origin One allowed near-real-time design tweaks, eliminated tooling costs, improved part finish and disinfectability, optimized ROI, and enabled FloSonix to go to market quickly.
