Case Study: Global juicing leader Hurom shortens development cycle by two months and cuts mold costs with Stratasys 3D printing

A Stratasys Case Study

Preview of the Hurom Case Study

Global leader in juice technology uses 3D printing for continuous innovation

Hurom, a global leader in juicing, faced slow, time-consuming prototyping as its product lineup and design cycles expanded while relying on CNC machining for mockups. To speed development, Hurom adopted Stratasys 3D-printing technology—initially the Objet260 multi‑material printer (Digital ABS with vapor deposition plating) and later the Dimension SST 1200es FDM printer for functional ABS parts and larger, more economical molds.

Stratasys’ printers became integral to Hurom’s pre-design and parts-design process, enabling rapid iterations, realistic finish options, and functional testing that reduced overlap between teams. The result: a two-month reduction in the development cycle, dramatic decreases in mold cost and post-processing, and faster design confirmation—giving Hurom a clear competitive advantage.
