A Stratasys Case Study
Dunwoody College of Technology needed hands‑on, industry‑focused 3D printing for its Engineering Drafting & Design program so students could verify, iterate and test real‑world products (from weed whips to golf putters) instead of relying on hand‑cut models. To meet requirements for speed, reliability, ease of use and multi‑material capability, Dunwoody turned to Stratasys and its Stratasys F370 3D Printer with the GrabCAD Print workflow.
Stratasys delivered the F370 and GrabCAD Print, giving students faster, intuitive printing, a graphical preview to catch thin walls and toolpath issues before printing, and access to materials beyond ABS (ASA, PLA and color options). The result was accelerated lessons and quicker design iterations, lower per‑project cost, reliable daily use across many students, and stronger, job‑ready prototyping skills for Dunwoody graduates.
