Express Dental Laboratory, a dental lab, faced the challenge of providing custom dentures to underserved patients at a large, free two-day clinic. The traditional analog process for creating dentures was far too slow to meet the event's demands, preventing them from offering this service. To address this, they partnered with vendor Stratasys and utilized their J5 DentaJet 3D printer and TrueDent resin.

Stratasys's solution enabled the digital design and monolithic 3D printing of dentures. This streamlined process allowed Express Dental Laboratory to produce 76 unique, patient-specific dentures in under 24 hours. The result was that dozens of patients received comfortable, aesthetically pleasing dentures that significantly improved their confidence and quality of life. The high throughput of the Stratasys technology made it possible to serve a much larger number of people than would have been possible with conventional methods.
