EANT-GmbH cuts production costs by 20% with Stratasys

EANT-GmbH, a German engineering firm, was challenged by partner EPAK to redesign heavy, welded maritime satellite antenna mounts to be lighter and easier to produce. Using generative design created complex organic shapes that were difficult to fabricate traditionally. Stratasys was selected to provide an additive manufacturing solution.

The solution implemented by Stratasys utilized an F900 3D printer with a T40 tip and Nylon 12CF material to produce the strong, lightweight mounts. This approach from Stratasys resulted in a 20% decrease in production cost, a 75% reduction in production time, and a 38% lower part weight, making the project a success.
