Dental Designs doubles J5 DentaJet usefulness with Stratasys High Speed, High Quality mode

Dental Designs, a Nebraska-based dental laboratory, sought to push the boundaries of digital dentistry to improve the fit and turnaround time of its dental restorations. To meet this challenge, the lab partnered with vendor Stratasys and implemented its dental 3D printing technology, including the Objet series and the J5 DentaJet printer.

The solution from Stratasys provided Dental Designs with a streamlined and predictable digital workflow. The implementation of Stratasys PolyJet printers resulted in tremendously better-fitting restorations that were immediately noticed by doctors. A key result was a significant increase in production capacity and responsiveness to rush jobs, especially after a software update for the J5 DentaJet effectively doubled the printer's usefulness. This established Dental Designs as "the place to send your scan" in its region.
