A Stratasys Case Study
Danhe Medical, a medical device company in Hangzhou, needed a way to turn fuzzy 4D ultrasound images into realistic, durable, and fully customized keepsakes for expectant parents. To meet tight requirements for accuracy, color fidelity and fast turnaround, Danhe evaluated 3D printing and selected Stratasys’ J850 printer.
Using the Stratasys J850, Danhe converts ultrasound scans to STL, prepares models in about one day, and prints parts in roughly five hours with minimal post‑processing—allowing finished, photoreal, multi‑material, PANTONE‑validated baby models to be shipped within a week. The Stratasys solution produced high‑fidelity, durable full‑color models (over 500,000 colors and multiple material types), reliably reproducing facial features, shortening turnaround to under seven days and delighting parents.
