Brudden Perfects Gym Equipment Using 3d Printer

Brudden, a leading Brazilian manufacturer of Movement and Perform gym equipment, faced rising market demand for new models and strict safety, performance and aesthetic requirements. To speed development and validate designs against European regulations and real-world tests, Brudden turned to Stratasys and its Objet30 3D Printer for in-house rapid prototyping.

Using the Stratasys Objet30, Brudden now prints about 90% of its prototypes in-house, producing functional parts in roughly two days versus about 10 days for outsourced machined pieces, and achieved the planned return on investment within one year. The Stratasys solution delivered material-realistic, testable prototypes that withstand temperature, liquid and assembly testing, helped ensure compliance with BS EM 956, supported multiple new product launches and contributed to industry design awards.
