Atelier des Refusés creates 16 unique cushions with Stratasys 3DFashion

Atelier des Refusés, a company creating exclusive decorative pillows from repurposed textile waste, faced the challenge of designing a cohesive new collection where no two pieces were alike. They needed a sustainable solution that allowed for complete customization and unique, impactful designs while aligning with their core waste-reduction values. The solution was Stratasys' direct-to-textile 3D printing, which allowed Atelier to print intricate geometries, colors, and textures directly onto fabric. This enabled the creation of their 16-piece "Biodiversity" collection with stunning visual and tactile effects that would not have been possible otherwise. The results were highly successful; the waste-minimizing collection debuted at Milan Design Week and was selected to be showcased in Breitling's new flagship Milan store. The partnership with Stratasys opened up new creative possibilities for the company and positioned them at the forefront of a market transformation.
