Advanced Dental Technologies Increases Production Capacity 7X

Advanced Dental Technologies (ADT), a mid-size dental lab in Stoneham, Massachusetts, needed a better way to keep up with growing digital case volume as intraoral scanning increasingly replaced traditional impressions. Managing multiple entry-level printers created bottlenecks, heavy labor demands, and inefficient workflows. Stratasys’ PolyJet-based J3 DentaJet was introduced as the product/service helping ADT address these production challenges.

With the Stratasys J3 DentaJet and GrabCAD Print software, ADT consolidated multiple jobs into single print runs, producing up to 108 parts at once with multi-material capability and water-based post-processing. The result was nearly 7X higher production capacity, about 50% of each technician’s day freed up, over $41,000 in annual labor savings, and more than $100 saved per build in consumables. Stratasys also helped ADT improve accuracy, reduce manual intervention, and scale confidently for future growth.
