How Ident’M Dental Lab Manufactures 500 High-Precision Models Daily

Ident’M, a dental laboratory grappling with technician shortages, tight deadlines and the labor‑intensive steps of traditional vat 3D printing, needed a way to increase throughput without sacrificing fit and quality. They turned to Stratasys and its PolyJet/DentaJet technology to address time-consuming tasks like nesting, resin handling, cleaning and post‑curing that were consuming skilled technician hours.

Stratasys implemented PolyJet DentaJet systems that enable multi‑material printing on a single tray with water‑washable supports, dramatically reducing manual steps. The results: hands‑on labor roughly halved, manual task time cut from about 40 minutes to 19 minutes per build, and output rising from ~7 parts to ~70 parts per build — roughly a 10× increase in throughput. Stratasys reports faster turnaround, fewer remakes, safer resin handling and typical ROI within 12–18 months (with some labs seeing payback in ~10 months).
