Stratasys Direct Manufacturing provided expert design for manufacturability advice, optimizing the purse for the 3D printing process to improve durability and build quality. The final prototype was finished with a high-gloss clear coat to achieve a realistic patent-leather appearance. This innovative solution successfully eliminated the need for physical leather samples, demonstrating the potential for 3D printing to offer a more sustainable approach for the fashion industry.
