Luxottica faced a significant challenge after implementing tablets across its 3,100 retail stores. This frustratingly slow experience was leading customers to walk out without making a purchase, undermining the company's vision for the in-store tablet strategy.

Stratacache implemented its Retail Proxy solution to cache content locally within each store. This drastically reduced the load on the network by storing frequently accessed media files on a local appliance. The solution minimized content response time on the tablets to just 1-3 seconds, eliminating customer frustration. Due to this success, Luxottica plans to deploy Stratacache's Retail Proxies in all 7,500 of its retail stores.
