Grupo Bimbo, the world’s largest bakery company with operations across 33 countries, needed to replace a legacy satellite-based communications system with a more stable and scalable digital signage and live streaming platform. To support its digital transformation and improve internal communications across offices, plants, distribution centers, and sales depots, Grupo Bimbo partnered with Stratacache and its Scala platform.

Stratacache implemented a holistic solution using Scala Content Manager, Designer, and Player, along with live streaming, dashboards, widgets, and content strategy support. The result was a connected employee experience with broadcast-quality communications, real-time indicators, multilingual subtitling, and stronger content control; the deployment reached about 30,000 employees in Mexico across 1,000 displays and 500 HD player bundles. Grupo Bimbo reported strong user feedback, improved stability, and a platform that can scale for future integrations and enhancements.
