A top state government institution needed to modernize a mission-critical HR application that was non-standards based and still tied to a legacy identity provider that was no longer supported. Strata Identity placed Maverics Orchestrator in front of the legacy HR app as a proxy, enabling MFA and modern cloud-based access without rewriting code. The institution secured the first app in just four working sessions, retired the legacy IDP, and then expanded the approach to other applications across departments. As a result, the IAM team gained more control over modernization, departments could move independently under centralized oversight, and the organization improved overall identity security and reduced technical debt.
