Lehigh Valley Health Network Secures 2,049 Physician Referrals from Over 25,000 New Mover Households

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a major Pennsylvania healthcare system, needed a scalable way to engage new residents actively seeking healthcare providers. LVHN lacked a turnkey solution to identify, personalize outreach, and track responses from new movers across its service area, so it partnered with Strata Company to deploy a targeted new-mover outreach program combining A/B-tested direct mail and addressable digital tactics with data-driven tracking and reporting.

Strata Company implemented bifold/trifold direct-mail tests with QR codes, PURLs and reply cards, segmented new-mover lists by geography and demographics, offered a branded first-aid kit incentive, and extended reach with addressable geofencing display ads—while tracking every touchpoint. The campaign generated 2,049 physician referral requests from just over 25,000 households (5.9% response rate), 87% of respondents requested at least one referral, an 8.1% digital engagement rate, and 1.59 referrals per respondent; LVHN subsequently extended the program and expanded market coverage.
