Sonos, the American audio products company, needed a flexible way to launch multilingual product pages for new European markets without giving editors too much control over the frontend. They partnered with Strapi, through Pixel Alliance, to replace WordPress with a headless CMS that could support a product catalog across multiple languages and local markets.
Using Strapi with Nuxt.js, Docker, NGINX, and Localazy, the team built an extensible, multilingual website with dynamic zones, SSR for localized SEO, and streamlined translation workflows. The result was a launch completed in three months, 2x faster than before, with a 3x faster customization process and a Lighthouse performance score improvement from 25 to 99.
