Bash powers multi-channel e-commerce with Strapi to go live in 7 months

Bash, a leading South African shopping and lifestyle platform, faced the challenge of consolidating over 10 separate brand websites and 2 mobile apps into a single, unified platform within a strict 7-month deadline. They needed to provide each brand with a first-class tool to visually merchandise and manage their own store presence on the new Bash.com site. To solve this, they turned to the headless CMS Strapi.

Using Strapi, the engineering team built a highly flexible content modeling system that powered the new, consolidated storefronts. This solution allowed Bash to move quickly with minimal engineering effort and successfully meet its aggressive go-live deadline. Strapi’s generated REST APIs fed a custom backend-for-frontend app, unifying the platform and giving brands powerful tools to manage their content. The success of the initial launch led to an expanded use of Strapi for other features, including sitemap generation and custom content approval flows.
