Manzano High School Revives Coax Cable TV Network to Deliver StrandVision Digital Signage

Manzano High School, a large high school in Albuquerque, needed a better way to communicate daily announcements and event information to its 1,750 students across its sprawling campus. Their existing coax cable TV network was underutilized, and traditional methods like audio announcements were often missed. Assistant Principal Ken Tuley sought a modern solution and turned to StrandVision, LLC to implement its cloud-based digital signage service.

StrandVision provided an easy-to-use digital signage system that was distributed over the school's revived coax cable network to a mix of displays in six public areas and many classrooms. The solution enabled immediate posting of announcements, photos, and promotional content, ensuring students saw messages multiple times a day. The school reported a tremendous response, with StrandVision's support and reliable product greatly improving campus communication and student engagement.
