Capital Lighting Uses StrandVision Digital Signage at All of its Parts Counters

Capital Lighting & Supply, a premier electrical and lighting products distributor, sought to enhance its customer communications at parts counters across its 21 locations. The company previously relied on static print materials but wanted a more dynamic way to promote products and services. To address this challenge, they turned to vendor StrandVision, LLC and implemented its Internet-based StrandVision Platinum digital signage package.

The solution involved installing 42-inch LCD screens running the StrandVision software above all parts counters. Capital Lighting effectively merged this new digital medium into its marketing mix to promote specials, new products, and customer events. The vendor's platform allowed the company to show vendor-supplied videos to help offset costs. As a result, the digital signs became a valuable communication tool that sparked conversations between customers and counter personnel, built stronger relationships through promotions, and positively influenced customer behavior and brand recall. StrandVision provided the effective solution that was seamlessly integrated into the customer's operations.
