Tenova, an industrial machinery manufacturer based in Italy, faced significant people management challenges due to its rapid international growth and several acquisitions. Their existing, fragmented HR systems across different countries lacked the functionality to support global governance, central control of processes, and reliable data for strategic decision-making. Seeking a partner for total HR transformation, Tenova turned to the vendor Strada for its expertise and to implement a solution leveraging SAP SuccessFactors.

Strada designed and implemented a new global HR platform using SAP SuccessFactors modules for core processes like performance, compensation, and recruiting. This was integrated with the existing SAP HCM system and enhanced with Nakisa for organizational management and SAP BPC for analytics. The solution provided a unified, fact-based platform for talent decisions. As a result, Tenova achieved an estimated 10% savings on HR activities from improved efficiency and data quality, while eliminating duplicate data entry and local IT solutions.
