HSBC implementation and delivery of Employee Central Payroll in 5 countries

HSBC, a major global banking and financial services organization, needed to modernize its complex HR and payroll infrastructure to simplify its IT estate, transform payroll operations, and provide an optimized employee experience. The bank had already implemented a modernized HR suite with SAP SuccessFactors and sought a partner to implement and integrate SAP Employee Central Payroll to replace its legacy PeopleSoft system for its largest payrolls across multiple countries.

Strada was chosen as the payroll integration partner to design and build the new system. Strada managed the highly complex data migration and integration, successfully going live with the new payroll system for the UK in April 2019 and Hong Kong in September 2019. This provided a reliable data source for accurate payroll runs and management reporting for 138,000 employees, with work ongoing to roll out the solution in additional countries.
