RVshare, the first and largest peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace, wanted to create a compelling trend report to establish thought leadership but needed a deeper understanding of its audience. They partnered with STR to conduct research into the travel habits of RV travelers and to validate their internal hypotheses about market trends.

STR developed an online survey through a collaborative process, delivering timely insights and key statistics. This research equipped RVshare with the material needed to secure significant press coverage across global business and travel websites, successfully establishing them as an industry thought leader. The success of the initial project led RVshare to commission STR for a follow-up study to examine the impact of COVID-19 on the sector.
