Testbook, an ed-tech company serving more than 1.5 million monthly active users, wanted to turn its passive audience into an active community and increase in-app engagement, especially during the pandemic. With Storyly, Testbook marketers created scheduled story groups, daily pop quizzes, targeted content for different user segments, and stories featuring premium offers and real-user success stories. Story interactions also provided first-party sentiment data to guide content strategy. The results were strong: Storybook’s stories reached a 40% overall engagement rate, 55% for interactive stories, and an average of six story views per session, helping increase app stickiness and loyalty.
