Emeritus, a global leader in online education, needed a new way to engage users because email campaigns were getting lost in crowded inboxes and push notifications were often ignored. With Storyly, Emeritus added mobile-native Stories to its app to showcase bite-sized content previews, highlight the value of a subscription, and invite users to respond through polls, quizzes, emoji sliders, and question stickers. The result was stronger engagement and a new dialogue with learners, with nearly a third of users reacting to Stories; the team also benefited from faster launch times, lower cost than in-house development, and an easy-to-use Studio and dashboard that helped them act on insights quickly.
