amma Pregnancy Tracker is a mobile app used by millions of pregnant people and their families across 150 countries, and the team wanted to bring the engagement they saw on social media Stories into the app itself. They needed a way to keep users informed with reliable, easy-to-digest pregnancy content without overwhelming them, while also avoiding the time and development cost of building a story channel in-house. To solve this, amma turned to Storyly and its in-app Stories product.
Using Storyly, amma launched an in-app Story channel with snackable, high-value content, interactive elements, and developer-friendly setup. The result was stronger engagement and community building inside the app, with users watching an average of 10 Stories per session and spending over 73 seconds per visit. Storyly also helped amma achieve a 47% CTR for Stories, a 174% increase in reach in the first month, and an 84% increase in active users, while interactive stickers saw an average 55% response rate and some reaching 82%.
