Horizon Education, an EdTech SaaS company that helps K-12 schools and districts prepare students for the ACT and SAT, was struggling with a one-size-fits-all demo approach. Their reps were using the same live product environment for different personas, dealing with unexpected bugs and changes during demos, and relying on manual sandboxes that didn’t guide prospects well during trials. Storylane helped Horizon Education replace live demos with interactive product walkthroughs and almost completely phase out sandboxes by using demos as leave-behinds, onboarding aids, and trial environments. The team also integrated Storylane with HubSpot and Slack for lead capture and timely follow-up. Over 90 days, the two demos generated 750+ views, more than 90 hours of viewing time, over 100 email engagements in under 30 days, and converted more than 42% of viewers into leads, while also contributing to 5x leads and 3x sales velocity.
