Launching Tamron’s new webshop in 18 languages

Tamron, a world-class camera lens maker, needed to turn its informational website into a webshop so customers in Europe could buy directly online. With help from Storyblok and its partner Webmatch, Tamron also wanted to replace its outdated Typo3 CMS with a modern, headless setup that could support product content, eCommerce, and multiple languages.

Storyblok helped power a composable solution with commercetools, Vue Storefront, and Algolia, giving Tamron a flexible content hub, visual editing, and multilingual support across 18 languages. The new platform launched in under five months, improved Google performance by 54% and accessibility by 89%, and enabled Tamron to sell products directly through its website.
