Jantar Sp. z o.o., an IT solutions integrator, faced a challenge centralizing its backup processes for virtual machines, files, databases, and employee endpoints. Their previous solution required specialist scripting knowledge and significant administrative involvement. They needed a more reliable, faster, and easier-to-automate system that also provided strong security controls and reporting, and they wanted it to integrate with their existing IBM Spectrum Protect infrastructure. They turned to the vendor Storware for a solution.

Storware implemented its family of solutions, including KODO for end-users, which centralized data security management and automated backup processes. The solution provided an intuitive interface, robust scheduling, and built-in mechanisms for replication and deduplication. This significantly improved efficiency in data backup, disaster recovery, and testing, reducing incidents of missing or incorrect copies. A major result was the delegation of data restore tasks to end-users, which greatly lessened the workload for IT administrators.
